As an engineer and lecturer, this is a non value added activity, non profits or benefits whatsoever... unless you rule out fun, excitement, entertainment, relax, and getting together stuffs which increase the morale of your productivity, which is very subjective. But that is what people buying right now, they rather spend alot for that.
What i will be spending is a new handycam for the holiday, a cheap, reliable compact, easy to use, very high storage capacity.
- cheap ( below RM 1500)
- compact (weight less than 400g)
- easy to use (turn on and record)
- easy to use ( file format AVI or MOV, but most are using other format, which require you to convert....sucks!)
- storage capacity ( im going to use SD instead of HD, coz SD file is smaller and you can record more with less GB- proper storage capacity is 8GB = 2 hours of SD recording)
- wide angle ( i use wide angle before, and i cant live without it)
- battery ( normal battery will last 60 minutes, if i have more money ill buy another one which will cost me RM200 or so)
like they say, nothing are more precious than memory.
